Since i launched Black Lab Software, i've wanted to make it a proper home for showcasing the work i get to do with my awesome clients*.

I've also wanted to use it as a testbed for new frameworks and technologies - things like static site generators like Gatsby, and hosting platforms like Netlify, had really piqued my interest - so i tried them, but never definitively felt i'd found a solution that both allowed me to have a really fast static site and be able to update it quickly.

Then i found Statamic.

Statamic - being file-driven, but also having a fantastic control panel, has allowed me to build a site that's going to serve as the basis for my home on the web for a long time to come.

I'm so impressed in fact, that i'm working on moving some of my clients over to it.
